The Sittingbourne & Milton Regis branch of the Royal British Legion have an annual visit to the Bredgar Church of England School in Bredgar. Here, some of the members teach the pupils of the school, the reason why the Royal British Legion has the poppy as its symbol and the meaning of remembrance. The headmaster Mr David Whitehead, encourages the pupils to interact with the Legion members, with the hope that their understanding may last throughout their lives.

The video was made in November 2010 by the BBC “Songs of Praise” programme.
